We Start with Matter

I am starting this blog with MATTER as it is where we all start any spiritual journey. This is what we are born into when we enter planet Earth and alas what some people believe is all there is to existence. Some people find it hard to recognise their spiritual journey and don’t want to get out of matter where they feel all can stay familiar and thus safe. This is the biggest untruth that people can fall into: that our security lies in the material world.

I was teaching for a weekend and went out for dinner in a pub the evening between the two days with some friends who had come to see the lecture. We befriended another couple in the pub and they moved their chairs to join us. When they asked me what I was teaching the husband of this couple launched into an attack that it was all mumbo-jumbo.

I was teaching the journey we make through life from matter to spirit and how this process instils spiritual trust. His opposition, which verged on anger, came from my investigation as to what lay outside matter and his response was not an aversion to the term spiritual but he revealed his fear of leaving matter.

People cling on to the material world and thus get stuck in it. Let me explain. There is in fact only one true form of trust and it is that which comes from the higher planes. It takes time to learn this trust or to be sufficiently aware of it to be able to live by it. This is what is meant by your spiritual journey out of matter. But if you get stuck in matter you avoid this undertaking and put your trust in the material world. This is where you surround yourself with material things and the only choices you make are in order to perpetuate the myth of material security by spending your time trying to accumulate more wealth.

The problem with this is it is the chicken and the egg scenario - with matter and spirit - however, it is spirit that came first. Thus if you trust in your life that a greater power is guiding you, you won't be frightened to see where your life takes you. This is important because it is a fact of life that if you follow your purpose then material support will follow. It is not possible to get this to work the other way round.

If you live for matter your purpose will get lost in a lack of trust. You will not be able to take the life opportunities that come your way and will always put your trust in your material well-being first. Matter follows spirit. Spirit tells you what it wants from you.

Your purpose is preordained so to have spiritual trust is to simply follow the path in life that has been laid out for you. Believe me - it won't be boring but it means you have to trust in the process and take the opportunities that come your way. So many people don't take them through fear of loss. This is just the myth painted in the the material world. However, this is a big fear within us all and so takes a journey to unpick.

In truth, matter limits us. Its restrictions that we are born into when we grow a physical body and with it the constraints that we all have to adhere to, put us into a world of rules where we have to learn to get round the limits of physicality. The world of matter is hard and sharp with mountains to climb and seas to cross. It places obstacle upon obstacle in our path designed to stop our flow. It is our job to get round them and in doing so we learn and grow. The more we cultivate spiritual trust the more we find the true power to tackle each obstacle on Earth and free up our soul's journey.

I first got into understanding the difference between these two worlds through what I could see. And to keep my sanity I had to realise that the point to life is to find a balance between the two. Although I can see into the invisible world, I still live in the material one. In making such a connection it is important to explore both worlds equally and accept why we are on Earth. By doing this I kept my feet on the ground. This is so important when doing any spiritual work because the point to it is to earth it by bringing what you have found and integrating it into everyday life.

I then became an energy worker and homoeopath. However, people come to me primarily to clear blocks that are preventing them from doing their life journey of matter into spirit. With this I do one-to-one sessions but the deepest journey I have found to help people find themselves - live their truth on every level - is The Seven Levels. It enables the most profound transformation. It is a seven month commitment but all those who have done it have embraced their exploration into spirit to find out who they are.

Those wrapped up in matter feel happy to avoid such transformations but they will have to make them at some point, which is usually forced upon them during a crisis. I see many such people. The point to life is to be flexible because it will take you on a journey and to hinder this is to place blocks to obstruct your purpose. With the stuck people I see their blocks are always where I have to start in order to get their lives moving again. This is what we all want - the joy that comes from being able to explore our lives, make decisions and have choices.

Many people don't know what can be achieved with such healing or avoid it because it means facing their truth. By accepting your truth, i.e. what lies in your heart, you free yourself. This is to work with matter and see the reason for having such limitations on Earth because by navigating them you grow.

Conveying what lies outside matter presents a problem as it can't be tested or guaranteed as easily as matter. It is less predictable because we tend to look at it from a material point of view. We always measure it, play with it and study it from a point of view of being in matter on Earth so what we find is diluted to conform with our material perception. This is the problem quantum physics is having right now - how do you prove speculation - how to you quantify what lies in the realm of perception? This is why The Seven Levels course I hold is experiencial; it relies on your journey being exactly that and not an intellectual journey or a way of seeing being put on to you. What you learn is about where you are and where you are going. We will find ourselves completely limited if everything in existence can only exist in matter and thus only be justified in matter.

Spiritualism is just a word to which we try to bolt all our experiences that come from exploring what happens outside matter. This blog is therefore going to be full of information that has derived from MY exploration outside matter and not scrutinised by any committee or judged by scientists who are limited by matter. It will also take you to some interesting places like Temple Church where you can find in the energy what is really going on.

Those of you who know me understand that this is my territory and those who are new to my work; I hope will get much from what I have to offer.
